A STRATEGIC APPROACH TO WEED PROBLEMS OF NATIONAL SIGNIFICANCE

This site has was created by the Australian Weeds Committee and is maintained by the Invasive Plants and Animals Committee to promote access to key weed policies, regulations, current issues, national initiatives, research, extension, training and personnel. It is our hope that anyone involved in weed management will find this site useful and provide feedback and comment, so that it can be continually improved.

Funding for the operation of the site and weed identification tool was provided by the Natural Heritage Trust.

The site is deliberately kept low tech to enable access via slow, remote telephone lines and on computer systems that may not be at current technology standards.

It is our policy to provide links to any weed management site in Australia, be it a community group, government, commercial or private individual. We do not reproduce information available at other web sites, but will provide a hyperlink.

Please note that your visit is being recorded to help us with quality assurance and site improvement, in order to better meet your needs. You are encouraged to provide feedback or requests for additional services.
